Hanoi – Halong – Lan Ha Bay/A Night on a Peaceful Bay

In the morning

• At about 08:30 – 09:00, you are picked up from your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter and proceed by highway directly to the pier in Hai Phong city for the cruise
• At 12:00, we arrive at the office in the pier where you will be welcomed by our crew.

In the afternoon

• At 12:30, we embark Mon Chéri Cruises. You will be served a welcome drink and provided with a cold towel. This will be followed by a cruise briefing where you will also be given safety instructions before checking in to your cabin. We will set sail and you will have lunch in Mon Cheri’s luxury restaurant while enjoying the beauty of the canals on our way to Halong Bay.
• At 15:30, it is time to arrive Light and Dark Cave, where you can do kayaking or bamboo boat rowed by local people. Then return to Mon Chéri Cruises, followed by swimming near the ship.
• At 17:30, we return to Mon Chéri Cruises, where you can admire the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin and enjoy a complimentary sunset party.

In the evening

• At 18:30, you have a chance to take part in cooking demonstration to learn about our Vietnamese cuisine.

You can also enjoy the massage service which is available onboard. (Please book directly with the Cruise Manager on the boat)

• At 19:15, a great dining experience awaits you.
• 20:45-0:00, after finishing dinner, you can enjoy the landscape of the bay at night up on the top deck, relax with romantic ballad music, enjoy drinks from the bar try your luck at squid fishing, watch a movie or relax in your room.

In the morning

• At 06:15, you wake up early to start your perfect day with Tai Chi class or watch the sunrise on the top deck.
• At 7:00 – 8:30, the buffet breakfast is served in the restaurant.
• At 8:40, you visit Cat Ba island. Here, you are taken by bus to visit the most beautiful stalagmite and stalactite cave, located in Cat Ba National Park.
• At 10:30, you return the boat and check out the cabin. Then you save the energy with the delicious brunch in restaurant while the boat sails back to pier. We settle the bill at the end of trip for any beverage that you use during the stay

In the afternoon

• At 11:30, it’s time to disembark the boat and return to port
• At 12.15, you transfer back to Hanoi and have your own free time later
• At 15:00, you arrive in Hanoi. Trip ends.

In the morning

• At 06:00, it is perfect to start your day in the early morning to admire the marvelous sunrise or attend the Tai Chi class on the top deck. Have a fragrant cup of coffee made from a special blend which was created just for Mon Chéri, or a refreshing cup of tea.
• At 07:00, the buffet breakfast is served for you.
• At 07:45, you transfer to a Day Boat to head to Viet Hai Village in Cat Ba Island. On this lovely island you will take the bicycle trip along the village, admiring stunning scenery of the rice fields on the way. Then you will have some time for trekking into the forest and explore a hidden cave. (You can also choose to see the village by electric car at additional cost)
• At 12:00, a BBQ lunch is ready for you on the boat

In the afternoon

• At 13:45, you take the kayak to explore Van Boi Bay and visit the local people who live in the floating village, followed by swimming at a pristine beach.
• At 16:00, it’s time to come back on board Mon Chéri Cruises. You are free to take a shower before enjoying the sunset party with a new group of guests.
• At 19:15, another great dining experience awaits you.
• At 20:45 – 00:00, after finishing dinner, you can enjoy the landscape of the bay at night up on the top deck, relax with lovely music, enjoy drinks from the bar, try your luck again at squid fishing, watch a movie or retire to your room.
